SO2R Box Firmware V1.5 This is the version 1.5-0 firmware. It is used with the V1.10 and V1.11 software. SO2R Box Firmware V1.4 This is the version 1.4-0 firmware. It is used with the V1.8 and V1.7 software. SO2R Box Firmware V1.3-4 This is the version 1.3-4 firmware. It is used with the V1.6, V1.5, and V1.4 software. SO2R Box Firmware V1.2-1 This is the version 1.2-1 firmware. It is the same as V1.2 except for one bug fix. SO2R Box Firmware V1.2 This is the version 1.2 firmware. It supports RTTY. SO2R Box Firmware V1.1-1 This is the version 1.1-1 firmware. It is the same as V1.1 except that it has a fix for a problem where some SO2R Boxes occasionally go into bootloader mode (flashing lights) when powered up. SO2R Box Firmware V1.1-0 This is the version 1.1 firmware. It is required in order to use the new features in the version 1.1 SO2R Box software. SO2R Box Firmware v1.0-0 This is the initial release firmware. SO2R Box Construction V1.0 The original posting of the instructions. Project Documents These are the currently available documents. Virtual COM Port Drivers This is a short paper which describes available virtual COM port drivers and makes recommendations as to which to use. SO2R Box Presentation This is the presentation given at the April, 2009 YCCC meeting. It outlines many of the features of the box. SO2R Box Schematic This is the schematic of the production units. It is version 1.9.7. It contains the microphone wiring correction - previous versions have an error in the DIN plug numbering. SO2R Box Notes This describes the box, the features, the native USB commands, and the commands supported through the interface program. No drivers are needed to communicate directly via USB and it can be done in many languages including C++, C#, or Visual Basic. These notes are current as of firmware version 1.4-0 Bootloader This is the bootloader firmware. It must be loaded into the microprocessor using an external programmer. Once this is loaded the program jumper and SO2R Box utility can be used to install the SO2R Box firmware. Combined Firmware This is the SO2R Box bootloader and V1.0-0 firmware in one file. This contains a complete image for an 18F4550. It provides one-step loading using an external programmer. The firmware can be updated to the latest version without using the program jumper.
